Today, we commemorated the feast of Saint Prophet Elijah, along with the three new martyrs from the Monastery of Sveta Bogorodica Precista Kicevo: Evnuvij, Paisij, and Averkij. For this occasion, many faithful people filled the Church of Saint Petka. Following the Liturgy, a Memorial service was held in the Church hall to honor all Macedonian soldiers and protectors of our Country, the Republic of Macedonia, and of our Orthodox faith and Church. Afterwards, there were readings of poems and references dedicated to Ilinden. May eternal peace be granted to all protectors, soldiers, and defenders of our Country, the Republic of Macedonia, and of our Orthodox Church and faith. May God, through the intercessions of Saint Prophet Elijah and of Saints Evnuvij, Paisij, and Averkij, always keep us united under the guidance of our Macedonian Orthodox Church. We extend our warmest wishes for a Happy Ilinden feast day to all Macedonians across the globe.
